Continued care at an overnight or, if warranted, 24 hour veterinary facility will be recommended when warranted. At this time overnight monitoring is not available
TPLO procedures are not offered nor is extracapsular CCLR repair BUT certain fractures, FHOs on small patients, and some MPL corrections can be accommodated
Advanced Dental Care
*ALL dental patients have full mouth radiographs at the start of the procedure and following extractions as well as full mouth dental blocks for pain control*
Full mouth extractions: stomatitis cats, CUPS patients, severe periodontal disease with comorbidities (heart disesase/murmurs, kidney disease)
Mandibular fracture repairs including mandibular symphysis laxity: wiring techniques as well as modified labial button technique for caudal fractures
TMJ luxations - reduction of the luxation and stabilization when necessary
Oral masses: evaluation, biopsy acquisition, debulking
Complicated anesthetic cases/patients with comorbidities - heart disease, seizures, kidney disease, etc. We are set up to help these pets do well
Advanced and Ongoing Wound Management
Some wounds cannot be repaired immediately and require ongoing care which can be time consuming and cumbersome for primary veterinary hospitals and ER facilities
Dr. Reid LOVES wounds and is experienced in numerous techniques for their management and eventual closure
Wet to Dry bandage techniques for wounds that have infection or necrosis
Open wound management for mass removals or other wounds that do not have adequate tissue for primary closure - includes skin stretching techniques
